Terra blade terraria swords9/7/2023 ![]() ![]() Because the Night's Edge requires the Muramasa, which is obtained in the Dungeon, it is only obtainable after Skeletron has been defeated.Once in Hardmode, the Night's Edge can be upgraded into the True Night's Edge. The Night's Edge is also capable of autoswing. ![]() If the blade or its aura strike an enemy, a purple flash is created. This aura can break pots through walls, but cannot damage enemies there. The aura also swings around a second time on its own, further increasing range and even covering behind the player. On the Desktop version, Console version, and Mobile version, a purple aura comes off of the Night's Edge when swung, following the swing and increasing the range at which it can hit enemies. It is notable for having the highest base damage of a sword available before entering Hardmode, although on the Desktop version, Console version, and Mobile version, it is tied with the Volcano at 40 base damage. When swung, the Night's Edge emits fire-like purple particles, similarly to the swords used in crafting it, but the effect is more subtle and does not last as long. The Night's Edge is a post- Skeletron broadsword. The Bee Keeper has been in the Zenith's animation since its release in 1.4.0.1, but was only added to the crafting recipe in the 1.4.0.3 hotfix.(Old-gen console and 3DS versions) Animation of the Night's Edge. The Zenith's projectiles include the Terragrim, despite not being in its crafting tree. The Zenith projectiles will always include both the Light's Bane and Blood Butcherer, no matter which one was used. The precursor design of the Zenith exists as an unobtainable weapon, the First Fractal, which resembles an upgraded Terra Blade. Before the release of the 1.4.0.1 update, the sword had various placeholders and scrapped names, including Final Fractal and Summit. This is a reference to the fact that the Zenith is often considered the final and best weapon in the game. Zenith is a word defined as "the time/point at which something is at its most strength or successful".The Zenith can defeat the Moon Lord on Master Mode (277,311 combined HP) in about 11 seconds. In an optimized environment, the Zenith can do more than 7,000,000 DPS.Against segmented worm enemies like The Destroyer, it can surpass 1,000,000 DPS.Against most single targets, it can reach more than 70,000 DPS with the right armor, accessories, modifiers, buffs, and correct positioning. However, it has the potential to reach much higher DPS numbers: In a regular combat situation, most players will see the Zenith dealing around 20,000 to 30,000 DPS.The Zenith passing 7,000,000 DPS against multiple targets. This is presumably due to the Copper Shortsword's role as the very first sword every player will encounter (with the exception of Journey Mode characters). Despite being nearly identical to its copper counterpart, the Tin Shortsword cannot be used to craft the Zenith.Swords also deal damage behind the player on their return trip. Each individual sword sprite may register multiple hits on an enemy, depending on size and positioning. However, the Zenith will in turn lose the ability to home in on enemies since the Zenith itself never homes in because it is always thrown first. With high enough attack speed, it is possible for only the Zenith itself to appear. A higher attack speed will cause fewer swords besides the Zenith to appear, and a lower attack speed will cause more to appear. Equipment and modifiers that increase melee speed change the number of swords that appear per use, but have no effect on the number of swords thrown per second, nor the swords' velocity. The Zenith can only go up to 600 pixels vertically and 960 pixels horizontally in all directions. The Zenith ignores enemy invincibility frames. This can be used to reveal parts of the minimap. Each sword generated will have a unique swing color, which generates a large amount of light. The first sword generated on each swing will always be a Zenith projectile, which generates a mint green trail.Zenith (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Meowmere (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Star Wrath (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Influx Waver (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Seedler (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Moon Lord (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Martian Saucer (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) ![]()
